Executive Director
Susie Thompson
Susie Thompson, LMSW, RPS is the Executive Director of The Jude House, Inc., bringing more than 15 years of experience in human services leadership. She leads with a trauma‑informed, justice‑centered approach grounded in equity, innovation, and systems change.
Susie holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University and is currently a doctoral candidate at Simmons University, where she is completing her Doctorate in Social Work, with an anticipated graduation in August 2026. Her doctoral focus includes family reintegration, adaptive leadership, and community‑based healing.
Under her leadership, The Jude House, Inc. has expanded services, strengthened organizational culture, and integrated creative, evidence‑based programming. Susie’s work bridges clinical practice, organizational leadership, and advocacy, with a mission to break generational cycles of addiction and create pathways to recovery, dignity, and belonging.

Operations Director
Robin Gorham
Robin Gorham is the Operations Director at The Jude House, Inc. As the Operations Director at The Jude House, Inc., Robin Gorham is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations that help keep the organization running efficiently and effectively. Areas of oversight include Admissions, Billing, Accounts Payable, Transportation, and Facilities.
Although Robin does not provide direct clinical care, she understands the important role operations plays in supporting the recovery journey of the individuals served by the organization. Robin is committed to ensuring that teams, systems, and environments operate smoothly so staff can focus on delivering quality care and support to clients.
Since 1972, The Jude House, Inc. has remained dedicated to helping individuals affected by substance use disorders. Robin takes pride in contributing to that mission by leading operational efforts that support both staff and the community served with compassion, professionalism, and excellence.

Medical Supervisor
Kelly Cooper-Roache
Kelly Cooper‑Roache is the Medical Supervisor at The Jude House, Inc., bringing more than a decade of nursing experience across hospital and community‑based settings. A 2013 nursing school graduate, Kelly spent four years in hospital care, including two years in Med‑Surg Pediatrics and two years in Behavioral Health.
In 2018, she transitioned into the field of addiction treatment, where she found her professional calling. Kelly joined The Jude House, Inc. in 2022 and continues to provide compassionate, clinically grounded medical leadership to support individuals on their recovery journey.

Clinical Director
Crystal Summers
Crystal Summers, LGADC, LGPC is a dedicated mental health and addiction counseling professional with a strong commitment to supporting individuals on their path to recovery and personal growth. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Southern New Hampshire University and went on to complete her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University.
As the Clinical Director at The Jude House, Inc., Crystal brings leadership, compassion, and clinical expertise to her work, helping to guide both clients and staff in creating meaningful, lasting change. Her approach emphasizes empathy, accountability, and evidence-based practices to support individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges.
Crystal relocated to Southern Maryland in 2016, where she has continued to grow professionally while remaining deeply connected to her community. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending time with her two black Labrador retrievers, Kyle Wayne and Little, who bring balance and joy to her life.

Human Resources Director
Jeanette Posey
Jeanette Posey is a dedicated professional with over 30 years of experience in management and leadership. She graduated from Philadelphia Community College in 1984 and went on to earn a business degree with a concentration in Business Administration from the University of Philadelphia in 1987.
Jeanette began her career as an account manager for an outsourcing company, where she developed a strong foundation in business operations and client relations. In 1999, she transitioned into the field of Human Resources, where she discovered her passion for supporting people and fostering organizational growth.
Her journey with The Jude House, Inc. began between 2016 and 2018, where she contributed her expertise before stepping away and later returning in early 2022. Since her return, Jeanette has continued to play a vital role in advancing the organization’s mission, which has become a true passion of hers.
Throughout her career, Jeanette has remained committed to serving her community by sharing the knowledge and skills she has gained over the years. Her dedication, leadership, and passion for helping others have made a meaningful impact on both the organizations she has served and the individuals within her community.

Compliance and Customer Relations Manager
Tawanna Foster
Tawanna J. Foster is an experienced healthcare operations leader with a proven record of strengthening workflows, elevating patient experiences, and driving organizational growth across medical, dental, and pediatric practices. After years in private‑sector healthcare leadership, she has returned to her nonprofit roots at The Jude House, Inc., where she is honored to serve the community through mission‑centered work that aligns with her passion for restoration, dignity, and second chances.
She brings expertise in operations management, financial oversight, human resources, compliance, and patient‑centered care, and she is also a Certified Community Health Worker, further grounding her work in community‑based support and advocacy. Tawanna is currently completing her Master’s in Human Resources at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), expanding her leadership and organizational development skills.
Outside of her professional life, Tawanna is a proud mother to an awesome daughter and three beloved dogs. She finds joy in praise & worship, gardening, and loving on every single dog she sees — without exception.
